Testimonial
I have worked with Haskap Central, Curtis and Leslie for 7 years. They have been nothing but informative, kind, and patient with me. Having one of the largest orchards in Montana, I have had to lean on Curtis' vast understanding of the cultivar. I have never failed to be impressed with packaging & the quality of the starts I have purchased & received from Haskap Central. My farm, @bigskyhoneyberries is now thriving due to the consistent advice & help from Curtis & Leslie over the years. I couldn't suggest a better provider of high quality healthy haskap starts, who believe in their product & have intimate knowledge of growing. Haskap Central is the premier provider of quality haskap plants & I find their small business to be run by two of the kindest & most genuine people I've worked with. I always direct people in my orbit to Haskap Central.

The University of Saskatchewan introduced Aurora as the ideal pollinizer for Borealis, and since its debut, it has set the standard for commercial haskap cultivation. Aurora has earned its status as one of the most widely planted cultivars worldwide, and it is celebrated for its exceptional commercial attributes, sweeter taste, and higher productivity. Why Aurora Stands Out:
To ensure proper fruit set, Aurora requires an unrelated companion plant. It pairs with Borealis, Indigo Gem, Honeybee, and Boreal Beast. Most growers are planting at a ratio of 2:1, with two Aurora plants for every companion plant. Research conducted in Quebec on various haskap varieties has shown that yields can be significantly higher when companion plants are placed in the same row for pollination purposes. When selecting companions for commercial purposes please feel free to call Curtis to discuss. Features of Companion Cultivars:
Ordering Information: Reserve your Aurora plants now for Spring 2025 delivery. Due to limited supply, early ordering is recommended to avoid disappointment. Special Offers: Maximize savings with our discount pricing and reduced shipping costs per plant by placing a group order with family, friends, or neighbours. Haskap plants make unique gifts for occasions such as weddings, housewarmings, birthdays, and baby showers. They are also an excellent addition to edible landscaping or food forests. Volume Pricing applies per cultivar. For a detailed description of Aurora by Dr. Bob Bors from the University of Saskatchewan, visit our "Favourite Links" page.
